5 Reasons I’m Excited for BlogHer Food 2014

Guess who will be attending BlogHer Food this upcoming weekend? THIS GAL! It’s my first blogger conference, so I will take any advice you can give me. In the mean time, I’ll share with you what I’m most excited for:

  1. All the diverse foodie bloggers I’ll meet from around the country. I am mostly looking forward to meeting people who love food as much as I do! Favorite types of cuisine? Dishes you’d never touch? These are things I want to talk about with the like-minded people I’ll meet. I’ve already followed several bloggers on Twitter that I hope to meet, including @PeachesPeaches1, @arzcubed, @Life_Love_Sugar, @appetitefrbooks, @Latina_Sweetie, and @woodlandalyssa. Be sure to reach out to me about meeting up if you’ll be there!
  2. Free swag. I’ve heard from my coworkers that sponsors go all out at these types of events. Not only am I excited to see what the giveaways are, but I’ve also been invited to the Visit South Walton Culinary Showcase at the Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). How could I not be excited for the experience? I love both food and art!
  3. Blogging Strategies. While I’m trying to get advice for my own cake blog (pic below!), I look forward to hearing about strategies other bloggers use in both panels and from my peers.Game of Thrones Dragon Eggs Cake
  4. The ridiculously delicious food. How could I have gotten this far without mentioning it?? There will be tastings galore by famous and local chefs. My palate is already salivating.
  5. Continuing the conversation post-conference. Hopefully I’ll make lasting friendships and can keep the food chatting going through social media!

Am I missing anything about conferences or BlogHer Food specifically that I should be excited about??

I have heard amazing things about it. I have not been to BHF yet, but hope to next year. I am sure the food will be outstanding! What is your twitter handle so I can follow along while you are there?
