I ask you, is there ever really a bad day to go shopping?
My answer is a resounding “no.” But in my eyes, there might be a better day to go shopping this year and that day is October 16 at your local Macy’s.
On that day, Macy’s is inviting customers to Shop for a Cause at Macy’s stores nationwide. For a small $5 contribution to an array of local charities, shoppers will receive a pass that grants a whopping 20 percent off anything purchased that day (with 10% off any sale or clearance purchases.) Additionally, customers can use the shopping pass for 25% off one regular, sale or clearance item in men’s, women’s or kids apparel or accessories (some exclusions do apply…but that’s life, ain’t it?)
Personally, I am thrilled to help Macy’s get the word out about this day of fundraising and fashion…philanthropy and fur vests…donations and Dolce Vita peep toe booties. Macy’s just happens to carry some of my favorite brands including Rachel Rachel Roy (exclusive to Macy’s) as well as BCBG Max Azria, Kensie and Free People. And don’t even get me started on their shoe selection (a.k.a. My weakness). I’m already eying a pair of Steve Madden clogs to take home no later than 11:59PM on October 16.
